This Game was made as a part of an initiation to Game Concepts and Video Games designing in general, and was programmed in Game Maker Studio 2 - Drag and Drop.

Pitch

The User plays an adventurer wielding a sword and shield, running against hords of monsters after one of them destroys his house. In a pixel-art Fantasy world, the player has to fight off waves of different ennemies, surviving their attacks and projectiles, and slay them to increase his score and survive.

Points of Interest

- Images, Animations, and Code Logic entirely made by hand

- Randomized waves of ennemies

- Currently 3 types of ennemies

- Different attack modes (close and far range)

= > Customised Visuals

For this project, I challenged myself to make myself every single asset I would use (Sprites, Animations, Backgrounds...). By using Game Maker's integrated tools, I was able to create a wide panel of coherent assets.

Below are some examples displayed to be seen in an easier fashion :

Examples :

In-Game Images :

1- Startup Menu 2- Intro scene, beginning

3- Intro Scene, ending 4- Empty Game Scene

5- Final Screen on death
